What Lies Beneath the Glass?
When you look at the solar water heater on your roof, you just see an appliance. At GASOS, however, we see a well-tuned system where every component plays a vital role in ensuring you enjoy a warm bath.

Let’s take a look at what makes up the "heart" of your home's comfort:
The Collector: The Sun’s "Antenna"
This is the panel with the glass facing the sky. Inside, it hides a network of copper pipes and a special surface that "soaks up" the sun. In our collectors, this surface features selective absorption reaching an impressive level of more than 90%. It is covered by safety glass for durability and features strong insulation so that the heat stays inside rather than escaping into the environment.
The Storage Tank (Cylinder)
This is your energy "reservoir." It is always installed higher than the collector so that the water flow works naturally. The secret here is insulation: a well-insulated cylinder keeps water hot for hours, even in case of sudden temperature drop.
Safety First: Expansion Tank & Valve
When water heats up, it expands. To prevent strain on the system, there is an expansion tank that absorbs these pressure changes. At the same time, the safety valve acts as the system’s guardian angel: if the pressure rises above the allowed limit, the valve opens to release it.
For Larger Systems: Pump & Thermostat
In some cases (known as forced circulation systems), we need a little help. There, we use a pump and a differential thermostat, which command when the water needs to be moved towards the collectors.
At GASOS, we select every component based on strict quality criteria. Because we know that the longevity of the system depends on even the smallest screw.
